Mary Brittain-White – Managing Director
After 20 years in the wireless data industry, of which 16 years are with Retriever, Mary has established herself as a thought leader in the area of wireless field automation. Prior to founding Retriever Mary worked for a Silicon Valley based Motorola subsidiary, RadioMail, which pioneered wireless email. From University Mary joined IBM and over a 14 year career there held Sales and Marketing executive management roles. Mary has a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University and a post graduate Executive Development program from Melbourne University.
Dr Ergad Gold – Director
Dr Ergad Gold is a Principal and Director of the Momentum venture capital group and is a technologist with many years’ experience in product development spanning a wide range of technologies. He has worked extensively in industry, government and academia and for six years operated his own consulting practice specialising in technology management. As well as Retriever Communications Pty Ltd, Ergad is currently a Director of CR-X Pty Ltd and EnGeneIC Ltd. He was formerly a Director of Panviva Pty Ltd and Biovend Pty Ltd. He currently also serves on commercialisation advisory committees at the Florey Neurosciences Institute and the Bionics Institute.
Rob McKelvey – Director
Rob is a senior business executive, company director, Hypnotherapist and Certified Master Coach with strong regional and global experience gained over 30 years in executive and senior management, sales and marketing roles across a diverse range of businesses. Currently Rob is Managing Director of McKelvey & Associates as well as being a Non-Executive Director. Most recently, Rob held the position of Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific for the US based professional services organisation, Gartner. Rob holds a BA in History and Psychology.
Bruce Taafe – Director
Bruce has extensive experience in the Information Technology industry covering both User and Vendor environments in Australia and Overseas. His 30 years of industry experience includes international sales, executive management and worldwide corporate strategy development with service, software and hardware companies. Bruce’s experience includes the position of International Executive Corporate Officer and Vice President of International Operations and Worldwide OEM Sales for Storage Technology Corporation, a Wall St. multinational corporation which at the time was one of the world’s largest computer storage companies. In this position he was responsible for their business in 65 countries. Bruce has held directorships on private and public company boards in Australia and USA. Recently he has acted as a consultant to a number of small companies and large multinationals including Sun Microsystems.
