Peter Kazacos

Mr. Kazacos, Retriever’s non-executive Chairman,has over 35 years’ experience in the IT industry. He founded KAZ in 1988 and led the company over its 17-year history. Mr. Kazacos was responsible for guiding KAZ from a small IT services company in NSW to one of Asia Pacific’s leading IT services and business process outsourcing service providers. Mr Kazacos is founder and Executive Chairman of Anittel Ltd, having spent 3 years building the company into one of Australia’s leading IT&C service providers operating outside the major metropolitan areas. In 2010, Anittel was acquired by publicly listed company, Hostech. Mr Kazacos holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (Applied Mathematics and Computer Science) from the University of New South Wales.
Dr Ergad Gold

Ergad Gold is a Principal and Director of the Momentum venture capital group and is a technologist with many years’ experience in product development spanning a wide range of technologies. He has worked extensively in industry, government and academia and for six years operated his own consulting practice specialising in technology management. As well as Retriever Communications Pty Ltd, Ergad is currently a Director of CR-X Pty Ltd and EnGeneIC Ltd. He was formerly a Director of Panviva Pty Ltd and Biovend Pty Ltd. He currently also serves on commercialisation advisory committees at the Florey Neurosciences Institute and the Bionics Institute.
Jeff Lee

Jeff has spent the last 25 years involved in technology for the energy and utility industry. Working for IBM till 2014 he initially managed all the energy and utility related sales and consulting business in Australia, moving to Asia and finally all the non USA and Western Europe world – nearly A$1B revenue. He has been a regular speaker on energy with many global energy organisations and published in several international energy and utility magazines. He is currently Chairman of The Warren Centre-Energy Committee, a science, technology and innovation activator and engineering think-tank, established in 1983. The Sydney-based centre is Australia’s premier independent commentator on transformation engineering issues.
Kevin Dwyer

Kevin has 30 years experience in the Information Industry. At IBM Australia he worked in technical roles including as a Communications Specialist before moving into a variety of sales positions including Manager of Queensland and then NSW Industries Branches. Following IBM he worked at Digital Equipment as the Director of Outsourcing for Australia and New Zealand. Kevin holds a BA with Honours in Modern History from Macquarie University.

Chris Calamos

Highly successful career in senior management roles. Chris has more than 30 years experience in the IT&T industry and has worked with venture capital backed ‘startups’ through to large US based publicly listed multinationals. Chris’s expertise includes managing high growth businesses, corporate acquisitions, divestment & strategic planning. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business from University of Technology Sydney and is a qualified CPA.
Steve Schultz
Steve SchultzOperations Director
Steve manages service delivery, implementation teams and quality testing as well as customer and partner support at Retriever. Steve joined Retriever from Telstra, where he worked in a range of roles within the sales and engineering divisions, including previously managing engineering teams in the deployment of leading edge technology across Australia. Steve has over 25 years’ experience in senior engineering and management roles in the ICT industry. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
Margaret Fowler
Margaret FowlerFinance Manager
Margaret has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry and has been with Retriever since 2000. She has risen through the ranks at Retriever and now leads the Finance team. Margaret’s responsibility cover Company Secretarial for the Board, finance management of the international offices and customers in North America and Europe, over sight of the finance team in Australia.
Nicolas Grange
Nicolas Grange Chief Technology Officer
Nicolas was appointed to his current position as CTO in March 2015. Prior to that he held the position of Research & Development Manager in Retriever’s Sydney office. Nic has been with Retriever since 2004 and has held several technical leadership roles in our Sydney and London offices. Nic is responsible for the company’s technical vision and fostering an innovation culture. Nicolas holds a B.Eng. in Software Engineering from University of Technology, Sydney.

Mary Brittain-White

Mary Brittain-White accumulated a 27 year career in the area of wireless field automation and was highly recognised as a ‘thought leader’ & pioneer within this industry. In 1996, Mary established Retriever Communications Pty Ltd, an Australian owned company where Mary, as CEO, focused on the ongoing development & sales of wireless field automation solutions. Prior to establishing Retriever, Mary worked at a Motorola subsidiary, RadioMail, which pioneered wireless email in the mid 90’s. After completing university, Mary immediately joined IBM where she spent the next 14 years and achieved great success in executive sales and marketing roles. Mary gained a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University and a post graduate Executive Development program from Melbourne University.

In April 2019, after battling a long illness, Mary sadly passed away.
