QA Engineer @Retriever

Essential

• 2+ years experience in a software team environment
• Australian citizen or PR currently residing in Sydney
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or similar
• Commercial experience with unit, integration, acceptance and exploratory testing
• Commercial experience with software testing automation tools
• Actively takes initiatives without being asked
• A great team member with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passionate about technology and willing to learn

Desirable Skills/Attributes

• Some coding knowledge, especially in Java and AWS
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins
• Experience testing mobile applications

Essential:

• 1+ years working with JavaScript and React
• Ability to take designs and wireframes produced by the product team and turn them into high-quality code
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and how to call them
• Experience working with Git, a version control repository like Bitbucket / Github
• Experience working in a goal-orientated team, with strong collaboration skills
• Great communication, comfortable working with internal product stakeholders and other engineers
• Australian citizen or PR currently residing in Australia

Desirable:

• Experience working with MUI / Material UI libraries
• Experience converting Figma wireframes into production-ready code
• Experience working with Storybook for testing and reviewing components
• Experience using Jest, other React Testing Frameworks
• Experience working with Swagger or equivalent RESTful API documentation
• Experience working with the Atlassian product suite: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
• Experience writing React Native applications
